T-41 Revenue Cutter Service Buckle (Sold for years as a Marine belt plate.) "Plates and Buckles of the American Military 1795-1874" by Sydney C. Kerksis Page 80 shows this plate as a Marine buckle but is a Revenue Cutter buckle. Mac Mason let me copy his original (1969) and we thought it was Marine. Thanks to the Revenue Cutter Service for the correct information.
