T-48 Confederate States of America Belt Plate. This belt plate was not copied from an original. In 1967 when the buckle business began I had to design buckles like the originals to add to the reproduction collection. The G-55 is the original in the Maryland Steuart Collection that I copied in 1981 and the same style plate. This T-48 has been a very good seller for me.
