T-70 FANTASY Alabama Two Piece Belt Plate Circa 1968 Never an original like T-70. Used glue and cardboard to make the Alabama seal. I now have several copied from the original belt plates. A very rare plate and took a while to get a original to cast a master pattern. You see these two T-70 and T-702 sold as original.

Original with J. S. Smith & Sons, New York stamped into the brass tongue half. Smith made many different state belt plates before the Civil War. His southern state dies were destroyed when the war began.
