The original G-24 California two piece had a flaw at the top left of the wreath. The brass did not fill out in the sand mold. I replaced this flaw in the master pattern to look the same on all four sides but cast this buckle for several years with this flaw. Also the wreath belt bar has a flaw at the top that can be seen with no problem. In the color photo above the black and white picture with the flaw of the G-24 reproduction, you can see the flaw replacement ..
